You will act as a key point of contact for developers, consultants, contractors, utility teams and public authorities. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously, track progress against agreed milestones and help resolve technical or procedural issues efficiently. Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the review of development plans, utility layouts, engineering reports and construction proposals.
- Monitor project submissions, approvals, agreements, inspections and completion requirements.
- Work with internal technical teams to identify capacity, connection and infrastructure requirements.
- Review documentation for completeness, compliance and alignment with applicable standards and policies.
- Maintain accurate project records, schedules, status reports and correspondence.
- Arrange and participate in meetings with developers, consultants and contractors, documenting actions and following up on outstanding matters.
- Support the resolution of design conflicts, construction issues and service-related queries.
- Provide clear updates to stakeholders and escalate risks, delays or non-compliance where appropriate.
About you
You will have experience coordinating infrastructure, civil engineering, land development or utility projects, ideally within a regulated or public-service environment. A working knowledge of water and wastewater systems, development processes, construction standards or permitting requirements would be advantageous.
You should be confident interpreting technical drawings and documentation, managing competing priorities and working collaboratively across multiple teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to maintain accurate records are required. A relevant qualification in civil engineering, construction management, planning or a related discipline is desirable, as is experience using project management or document-control systems.
