Electrical Project Superintendent – Multi-Family
An experienced Electrical Project Superintendent is required to oversee the electrical delivery of multi-family construction projects from mobilisation through to completion. This role will suit a confident site leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills and a proven record of managing electrical works on residential developments.
You will be responsible for coordinating site activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards. Working closely with project managers, construction teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers, you will provide clear direction and resolve issues efficiently on site.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation activities across multi-family residential projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and installation requirements, identifying discrepancies and potential risks.
- Plan labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor requirements to support programme milestones.
- Monitor workmanship, testing and commissioning to ensure compliance with approved designs and applicable regulations.
- Lead daily site coordination meetings and maintain accurate progress, inspection and quality records.
- Work collaboratively with other trades to manage sequencing, access and site logistics.
- Support project managers with progress updates, cost awareness, variations and practical completion activities.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring safe systems of work are followed at all times.
About you
You will have substantial experience supervising electrical construction projects, ideally within multi-family, apartment, hotel or other large-scale residential developments. A relevant electrical qualification, trade background or equivalent practical experience is essential, along with a thorough understanding of construction documentation, inspections and commissioning processes.
Strong communication and leadership skills are required, together with the ability to prioritise competing demands and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable working with digital project records, drawings and reporting systems, and be willing to travel between sites as required. A proactive approach, sound judgement and commitment to safe, high-quality delivery will be highly valued.
