Contract Manager - Hydropower - Canary Island

A leading infrastructure company is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join a long-term EPC project in Gran Canaria. This role will be instrumental in managing high-value contracts, mitigating risk, and supporting successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, negotiate, and manage EPC contracts
  • Perform legal and commercial risk analysis of new contracts
  • Mark up and draft contract terms with Legal Department support
  • Coordinate with internal teams for contract closure and annexes
  • Track project risks and opportunities throughout execution
  • Ensure all documentation is in order (communications, logbooks, technical records, etc.)
  • Draft client communications and responses
  • Support Management with reporting and documentation
  • Follow all procedures defined in the Integrated Management System Manual

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing and negotiating high-value EPC contracts
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Contract administration
    • Public Works and Services Law (LOPSRM)
    • Commercial Code
    • Project planning and budgeting
    • Risk assessment
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to perform under pressure
  • Committed, responsible, and aligned with organizational values
