Industrial Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and successful delivery of complex industrial projects from concept through to completion. This role will suit a structured and commercially aware professional with a strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing, construction or process environments. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project priorities and ensure that delivery remains aligned with agreed scope, budget, schedule, quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities will include developing project plans, defining milestones and allocating resources; coordinating internal teams, contractors, suppliers and specialist consultants; monitoring progress, costs, risks and dependencies; and providing clear, accurate reports to senior stakeholders. You will manage procurement and contract activities, oversee design and technical reviews, support commissioning and handover, and ensure that all project documentation is complete and maintained. The role will also involve identifying potential issues at an early stage, implementing effective mitigation plans and driving continuous improvement across project delivery processes.

Applicants should have proven experience managing industrial, engineering, plant, facilities, infrastructure or capital expenditure projects, ideally within a regulated or technically complex environment. A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, project management, construction management or a related discipline is desirable, together with formal project management training or certification. You will need strong commercial, organisational and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to interpret technical information and make well-informed decisions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, as is confidence working with stakeholders at all levels. The successful candidate will be proactive, resilient and capable of balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a clear focus on safe, high-quality and timely delivery.
