We are looking for a Kalkylingenjör to support the planning and delivery of construction and infrastructure projects through accurate, commercially sound cost calculations. In this role, you will prepare estimates, tenders and budgets based on drawings, specifications, technical documents and project requirements. You will analyse quantities, materials, labour, subcontractor costs, equipment and risks, ensuring that calculations are transparent, competitive and aligned with project objectives.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing tender documentation, identifying potential cost drivers and uncertainties, requesting and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations, and maintaining calculation templates and cost databases. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement specialists and site teams to clarify technical solutions, assess alternatives and develop cost-efficient proposals. You will also contribute to cost follow-up during project execution, analyse deviations between estimated and actual costs, and support continuous improvements in estimating methods and processes. Depending on experience, you may also participate in contract reviews, forecasting, change-order calculations and client presentations.

We are seeking someone with relevant education in civil engineering, construction, quantity surveying, economics or a comparable field, together with experience in cost estimation, tendering or project controls within construction, infrastructure or a related technical environment. You should be comfortable interpreting technical drawings and specifications, working with spreadsheets and estimation tools, and handling large amounts of data with a high level of accuracy. Commercial awareness, analytical ability and an organised approach are essential. You communicate clearly in English, collaborate effectively with different stakeholders and can work independently while meeting deadlines. Knowledge of local construction standards, procurement practices, contracts or additional languages is advantageous.
