WTG Maintenance Technician / Troubleshooter

EWI is supporting a leading international wind energy client in the search for experienced Wind Turbine Maintenance Technicians and Wind Turbine Troubleshooters for an onshore wind project in South Korea.

We are interested in speaking with technicians who have extensive experience performing maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting activities on utility-scale wind turbines.

This role offers the opportunity to join an established project within the growing South Korean wind market and work alongside experienced international teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance activities on wind turbines
  • Carry out fault finding and troubleshooting to identify technical issues
  • Complete inspections, repairs and component replacements
  • Support turbine optimisation and availability targets
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with site HSE requirements
  • Complete service documentation and maintenance reports
  • Work collaboratively with site management and technical teams

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Wind Turbine Technician, Maintenance Technician or Troubleshooter
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostics capability
  • Experience working on utility-scale wind turbines
  • Valid GWO certifications
  • Current medical certificate
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Willingness to travel and work across multiple project locations where required

Desirable

  • Advanced troubleshooting experience
  • Commissioning or service experience
  • OEM turbine training certificates
  • Experience working on large-scale onshore wind projects
