Where appropriate, you may provide technical guidance to graduate engineers and contribute to the ongoing improvement of design standards and procedures.

Applicants should hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have relevant professional experience in structural design or consultancy. Chartered or working towards chartership status is desirable. You will need sound knowledge of relevant design codes, building regulations, health and safety requirements and industry best practice, together with experience using structural analysis and design software and computer-aided design tools. Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to manage priorities, work collaboratively and explain technical matters clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. A proactive approach, attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions are key to success in this role.
