Structural Engineer lll - Residential - Remote

Established over 16 years in the state of Florida delivering luxury custom build homes, production homes, Clubhouses and Resort Style amenities and Commercial projects offering full service architectural, engineering and interior design services to their clients.
Since the beginning of 2024 this business have grown from 100 employees to 160 to meet the demands of the market in organic growth.

Salary: $100k - $125k - Successful candidate will be offered based on their experience in the relevant field and lisensing.
The Role:
- Structural Engineer lll should be able to work to a great standard with minimal supervision designing Single Family Residences.
- Analyzes proposed site factors and design maps, graphs, tracings, and diagrams to illustrate findings.
- Reads and reviews project blueprints and structural specifications to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements.
- Inspects project site and evaluate contractor work to detect design malfunctions and ensure conformance to design specifications and applicable codes.
- Prepares complex Architecture and Engineering construction drawings for residential and commercial projects utilizing AutoCAD Architecture, REVIT, Sapphire Frame and/or Sapphire Build (Blackpoint).
- Produces Lot Specific and Master plans in accordance with company and/or client-specific standards.
- Develops and drafts engineering details and plans, assists management in preparing proposals and generates correspondence for clients and managers.
- Performs fieldwork, documentation, research and drafting tasks of architectural and engineering data as requested by clients or managers.
- Maintains dynamic communication with contractors, clients, staff and the general public for any architectural, engineering or construction issues.
- Consistently applies Quality Control procedures and takes ownership of their work.
- Manages the proper filing of project submittals, RFIs and other project records both electronic and paper.
- Complies with company and client-specific standards (CAD, File Management, etc.).
- Participates in occasional team meetings to help resolve project issues such as coordination, scheduling, and technical concerns.
- Document time and expenses using business management system.
- Fosters a culture of external and internal client service.
- Engineering Calculations & Design using Concrete, Masonry, Steel and Timber design.
- High-wind speed and Seismic design.
- Analysis, reports & opinions.
- Development of construction documents.
