We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Group Manager to lead a specialist team working across high-speed rail, metro, lightweight structures and digital engineering. Based in Gothenburg, you will be responsible for developing a high-performing group delivering multidisciplinary transport and infrastructure projects. The role combines people leadership, technical direction, business development and project delivery, offering the opportunity to influence both current assignments and the future development of digital design and construction practices.

Your responsibilities will include managing, mentoring and developing engineers, designers and digital specialists; planning team capacity and supporting recruitment; coordinating technical delivery across projects; and ensuring that work is completed to a high standard, on time and within budget. You will contribute to bids, client relationships and strategic initiatives, while identifying opportunities to improve processes, collaboration and the use of digital tools. A key part of the role is promoting effective Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modelling (BIM), including model-based coordination, information management, digital workflows and the integration of design and construction data.

We are looking for a confident leader with relevant higher education in civil engineering, construction, architecture, transport infrastructure or a comparable field. You have substantial experience from rail, metro, infrastructure or complex building projects, together with a strong understanding of BIM, VDC or other digital delivery methods. Previous management or team leadership experience is essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly with clients, colleagues and project stakeholders. Commercial awareness, a structured approach and a genuine interest in developing people are highly valued. Professional fluency in English is required; knowledge of Swedish is advantageous. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative, international environment and motivated by creating practical, innovative solutions for complex projects.
