Program Manager - Water (Multiple Locations)

We are seeking experienced Program Managers to lead the successful delivery of major water infrastructure and service improvement programs across multiple locations. These roles will oversee complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives from planning and business case development through to procurement, delivery, commissioning and close-out. You will work with internal teams, delivery partners, contractors, regulators, Traditional Owners, community representatives and other stakeholders to achieve safe, sustainable and value-focused outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining program plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, governance frameworks and performance reports; coordinating multiple projects and interdependencies; monitoring scope, cost, quality, safety and schedule performance; and providing clear, timely advice to senior leaders and governance committees. You will lead procurement and contract management activities, support project assurance and stage-gate reviews, resolve issues and risks, and ensure that programs comply with relevant legislation, technical standards, environmental requirements and organisational policies. A strong focus on stakeholder engagement, customer outcomes, sustainability and continuous improvement will be essential.

To be successful, you will have substantial experience managing complex water, utilities, infrastructure or public-sector programs, together with a demonstrated record of delivering projects in challenging and highly regulated environments. You will bring strong commercial, financial, risk and governance capability, as well as excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills. Experience working with engineering, construction, operations or asset management teams will be highly valued. Relevant qualifications in project or program management, engineering, construction, business or a related discipline are desirable. These opportunities may involve travel between operational sites and offices, and applicants should be prepared to work collaboratively across diverse locations and stakeholder groups.
