The Field OEM Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all site-based activities between OEM and its clients, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of wind turbine installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting projects

Job Description:
- Acting as the primary technical and operational liaison, the role oversees field service teams, monitors project progress, ensures compliance with HSE and contractual requirements, and supports the optimisation of turbine performance.
- The Field OEM Manager works closely with project stakeholders to resolve technical issues, improve operational efficiency, and maintain strong customer relationships across multiple wind farm sites
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate OEM field service operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Act as the main point of contact between OEM partners, customers, and field teams.
- Monitor service performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
- Support planning and execution of maintenance, inspections, repairs, and technical interventions.
- Ensure effective communication between engineering, operations, supply chain, and service teams.
- Review service reports, KPIs, and operational data to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage OEM relationships and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical and operational issues.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in wind energy, renewable energy, or a similar technical field.
- Proven experience managing OEM services, field operations, or technical teams.
- Strong understanding of maintenance processes and service delivery.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyse performance data and drive operational improvements.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with wind turbine OEMs or service organisations.
- Technical qualification in engineering, electrical, mechanical, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards within the energy sector.
- Experience managing contractors and external service providers.
