We are seeking a strategic and experienced public policy professional to join a high-performing team as a Senior Associate or Principal. The successful candidate will help shape policy positions, anticipate regulatory developments and build constructive relationships with government, regulators, industry bodies, trade associations, civil society organisations and other influential stakeholders. This is an opportunity to contribute to complex, high-profile policy issues in a fast-moving environment where sound judgement, clear communication and the ability to translate analysis into practical action are essential.

Responsibilities will include monitoring and analysing legislative, regulatory and political developments; assessing their potential impact; and developing evidence-based policy recommendations. You will lead or support the preparation of consultation responses, briefing notes, position papers, stakeholder communications and senior-level meeting materials. The role will also involve coordinating engagement strategies, representing the organisation in external forums, arranging and participating in meetings with policymakers, and building trusted relationships across a broad range of audiences. You will work closely with internal legal, communications, commercial and operational teams to ensure policy priorities are aligned with wider objectives and effectively communicated.

Applicants should have significant experience in public policy, government affairs, regulatory affairs, political advisory, or a closely related field, gained in-house, within a consultancy, trade association, public body or similar environment. You will bring strong knowledge of how policy is developed and implemented, excellent research and written communication skills, and the confidence to engage credibly with senior stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple priorities, operate independently and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team is essential. Experience developing advocacy strategies, influencing policy outcomes and navigating complex or highly regulated environments would be advantageous. The level of appointment will reflect the successful candidate’s experience, leadership capability and depth of subject-matter expertise.
