Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will help shape practical solutions that balance development needs with environmental protection and community interests.
Key responsibilities

- Identify project risks and opportunities, recommending proportionate and commercially viable mitigation measures.

- Mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge to strengthen team capability and professional standards.
About you
You will have substantial experience in environmental planning, development consenting or a closely related consultancy or public-sector environment. A relevant degree or professional qualification is expected, together with a strong understanding of the UK planning system, environmental assessment processes and relevant legislation.
You should be organised, analytical and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the confidence to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Membership of a relevant professional body would be advantageous.
In return, you will have the opportunity to work on varied, high-profile projects, develop your expertise and make a meaningful contribution to sustainable development. Flexible working arrangements, professional development support and a competitive benefits package are available.
