- Manage project scope, budgets, programmes, risks and quality requirements.
- Coordinate highways, drainage, earthworks, utilities and infrastructure design packages.
- Review technical information, drawings, specifications and construction proposals.
- Provide clear direction to internal teams, external consultants and contractors.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, planning authorities and statutory bodies.
- Monitor progress, resolve technical issues and provide regular project reporting.
- Support business development activities, fee proposals and the preparation of tenders.
About you
You will have proven experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects within the land development sector, together with a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification. Strong knowledge of UK highways, drainage, earthworks and utility infrastructure is essential, alongside experience of obtaining approvals and working with local authorities.
Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills are required, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions under pressure. Experience with relevant design, project management or document control software would be advantageous. Chartered or working towards Chartered status is desirable, although equivalent practical experience will be considered.
In return, you can expect a collaborative working environment, opportunities for professional development and the chance to contribute to high-quality development projects across a diverse range of locations.
