We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of stormwater and civil infrastructure projects from planning and design through to construction and completion. This is an opportunity to manage technically complex works that improve community resilience, drainage performance and urban development outcomes. You will take ownership of project delivery, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include developing project plans, budgets, programs, risk registers and procurement strategies; coordinating design consultants, contractors, authorities and internal stakeholders; and overseeing construction activities, quality assurance, environmental requirements and contract administration. You will monitor progress and financial performance, manage variations and claims, resolve technical and commercial issues, and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders. The role will also involve reviewing designs and technical documentation, supporting approvals and tender processes, and identifying opportunities to improve project outcomes and delivery methodologies.

To be successful, you will have substantial experience managing civil infrastructure projects, with strong knowledge of stormwater drainage, flood mitigation, water-sensitive urban design or related works. Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management or a similar discipline are highly regarded, along with demonstrated experience across project planning, design coordination, construction supervision and contractor management. Strong commercial awareness, contract administration capability and an understanding of applicable standards, legislation, safety obligations and environmental controls are essential. You will be a confident communicator and collaborative leader, able to build effective relationships, manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a complex project environment. A proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure will be valued.
