You will contribute to the design and coordination of residential, commercial and infrastructure-related developments, ensuring that project work is technically sound, compliant with relevant standards and delivered within agreed timescales. The position offers exposure to a varied project portfolio and opportunities to build strong skills in civil design, project coordination and client communication.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of civil engineering designs, drawings, specifications and technical reports.
- Support the design of roads, earthworks, drainage, utilities and other land development infrastructure.
- Undertake engineering calculations, feasibility assessments and design reviews under appropriate supervision.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, authorities and other project stakeholders.
- Help prepare planning, development and construction documentation in accordance with applicable standards.
- Attend site visits, inspections and project meetings, recording findings and following up actions.
- Monitor project progress, costs and deliverables, escalating risks or technical issues when required.
- Maintain accurate project records and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
About you
You will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering and ideally have some experience in land development, infrastructure design or a related consultancy environment. Graduate engineers with relevant placement or internship experience are encouraged to apply. Working towards professional registration, or a willingness to pursue it, would be advantageous.
Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential. You should be comfortable using civil engineering design and drafting software, with experience of AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar platforms desirable. A proactive approach, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects will be highly valued.
What is offered
This role provides structured professional development, varied technical work and the opportunity to progress within a supportive engineering environment. A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered in line with experience and qualifications.
