We are seeking an experienced Manager BIM/VDC to lead the development and implementation of Building Information Modelling and Virtual Design and Construction processes across a range of complex projects. The successful candidate will establish clear digital delivery standards, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that BIM/VDC practices support safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes from design through construction and handover.
Key responsibilities include managing BIM/VDC workflows, execution plans, model production, and information exchange requirements; coordinating architectural, structural, and building services models; and overseeing clash detection, constructability reviews, visualisation, sequencing, and digital rehearsals. You will work closely with project managers, designers, engineers, contractors, and site teams to identify and resolve coordination issues, improve buildability, and promote consistent use of digital tools. The role will also involve maintaining project standards, templates, libraries, and protocols; monitoring model quality and data compliance; producing progress reports and dashboards; and supporting the integration of BIM with scheduling, cost management, procurement, and facilities management information. You may also be responsible for mentoring team members, delivering training, and supporting the continuous improvement of digital construction practices.
Applicants should have substantial experience in BIM, VDC, digital engineering, or a related construction discipline, with a strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and project information management. Proficiency with platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or comparable software is required, along with practical knowledge of clash detection, model federation, common data environments, and relevant BIM standards. Experience with 4D/5D modelling, scripting, automation, or data visualisation would be advantageous. Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are essential. A degree or professional qualification in architecture, engineering, construction, or a related field is preferred, together with the ability to manage priorities, influence project teams, and deliver accurate results within demanding deadlines.
