An international renewable energy developer is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement for large-scale solar PV, battery storage (BESS), and wind projects. The role involves managing supplier relationships, leading contract negotiations, and overseeing strategic sourcing for clean energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead sourcing and negotiation for solar, battery, and electrical components.

Drive contract negotiations for EPC and O&M agreements.

Manage end-to-end RFP processes for contractors and equipment suppliers.

Support cost modelling and budgeting for project bids.

Build long-term partnerships with suppliers and service providers.

Monitor market trends and assess supplier performance and compliance.

Requirements

10+ years' experience in procurement or supply chain within renewables.

Strong knowledge of solar PV and energy storage equipment.

Proven track record in EPC/O&M contract negotiation.

Experience with large-scale project procurement and RFP processes.

Skilled in financial analysis, CAPEX/OPEX forecasting, and supplier risk management.

Degree in Engineering, Business, or similar; procurement certifications a plus.

Project Manager - Battery Storage (BESS/ Stockage) - Paris

We are currently supporting a leading player in France's renewable energy sector in their search for a Battery Storage Project Manager to join their growing Energy Division.

This is an excellent opportunity for an energy professional looking to take ownership of utility-scale battery storage projects from concept to execution, working at the forefront of France's clean energy transformation.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Energy France, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development of BESS projects, including feasibility, permitting, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery-while working closely with internal teams across engineering, finance, legal, and grid connection.

You'll play a key role in building out the company's pipeline of battery storage assets, ensuring each project meets strategic, technical, financial, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, assess, and secure battery energy storage projects across FranceEvaluate project feasibility across technical, economic, and regulatory dimensionsDefine project plans, coordinate studies, and oversee scheduling and budgetingWork with internal engineering teams to conduct battery sizing studiesPrepare and manage all permitting and authorisation processesEngage local communities and authorities to ensure project acceptanceMonitor project execution, manage risk, and provide regular reportingDevelop commercial models in collaboration with the finance teamSupport the drafting of technical specifications and supplier evaluationsContribute to simulation modelling and industry best practicesAttend sector events, monitor technology trends, and help build partnerships

Candidate Profile
