Key responsibilities

- Manage delivery bookings and ensure materials arrive in line with the construction programme.
- Monitor site conditions and adjust logistics arrangements to accommodate changing requirements.
- Lead and coordinate logistics teams, traffic marshals, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental and site security procedures.
- Identify potential risks, congestion points and logistical constraints, implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records, reports and performance information for project stakeholders.
- Attend progress meetings and liaise with project management and construction leadership teams.
About you
You will have proven experience in construction logistics, site management or a similar role, ideally on large-scale, complex projects. A strong understanding of construction sequencing, transport coordination, materials handling and site safety is essential. Relevant professional qualifications in construction, logistics or occupational health and safety would be advantageous.
Excellent organisational and communication skills are required, together with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels. You should be proactive, commercially aware and capable of making sound decisions under pressure. Competence with construction planning, reporting and standard digital project tools is expected. A valid driving licence and flexibility to work on an active construction site are also required.
