We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, development and delivery of technical projects from initial concept through to completion. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, designers, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with agreed requirements. Your responsibilities will include preparing technical documentation, reviewing specifications and drawings, coordinating design activities, monitoring progress and contributing to project schedules, budgets and risk assessments.

You will analyse technical challenges, propose practical and cost-effective solutions, and support the resolution of issues during implementation. The role may involve participating in site visits, inspections, testing and commissioning activities, as well as following up on quality, health and safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. You will maintain clear project records, prepare reports and progress updates, and ensure that changes are properly evaluated and documented. Collaboration across multiple disciplines will be essential, along with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction, or a related technical field, together with experience in project engineering, technical coordination or a similar position. Familiarity with engineering standards, project management methods, CAD or other technical software, and relevant industry regulations is desirable. You should be structured, analytical and solution-oriented, with strong organisational and communication skills. The ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and contribute effectively within a team is essential. A proactive approach, attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results will be highly valued.
