We are seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-end hospitality developments and refurbishments from initial concept through to completion. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced construction professional who can manage complex, design-led projects while maintaining exceptional standards of quality, craftsmanship, safety, budget control and guest experience. The successful candidate will work closely with owners, consultants, architects, designers, operators, contractors and specialist suppliers to ensure that every project milestone is achieved efficiently and to specification.
Responsibilities will include establishing project objectives, programmes, budgets and procurement strategies; coordinating design development and construction activities; managing tendering, contract negotiations and consultant appointments; and overseeing project execution across multiple workstreams. You will monitor progress, costs, risks, quality and compliance, providing clear reporting and practical recommendations to senior stakeholders. The role will also involve leading project meetings, resolving technical and commercial issues, managing change control, reviewing contractor performance and ensuring that all works comply with relevant legislation, planning conditions, building regulations, health and safety requirements and hospitality standards.
Applicants should have substantial experience managing major hotel, resort, residential, or similarly complex luxury construction projects, ideally across new-build, renovation or phased operational environments. A degree or equivalent qualification in construction, engineering, architecture, project management or a related discipline is preferred, together with recognised professional accreditation where applicable. You will bring strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, cost management, risk mitigation and quality assurance, as well as proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and international stakeholders. Excellent communication, negotiation, organisational and decision-making skills are essential. The ability to remain composed under pressure, anticipate challenges and protect the design vision while delivering commercially sound outcomes will be critical to success.
