We are seeking an Associate, Infrastructure – Value Creation (m/f/d) to support the development and implementation of value creation initiatives across infrastructure investments. In this role, you will work closely with investment professionals, portfolio company management teams and external advisers to identify operational improvement opportunities, strengthen business performance and support long-term growth. The position offers broad exposure to infrastructure assets and requires a combination of analytical expertise, commercial judgement and strong project management skills.

Your responsibilities will include analysing portfolio company performance, business plans and operational data; identifying opportunities to improve revenue, margins, cash flow and capital efficiency; and supporting the preparation of value creation plans and transformation roadmaps. You will help coordinate and manage strategic and operational improvement projects, monitor progress against agreed milestones and develop clear recommendations for senior stakeholders. Further duties include conducting market, competitor and benchmarking analyses, preparing investment committee and management presentations, supporting due diligence activities and contributing to initiatives across areas such as procurement, pricing, organisational effectiveness, digitalisation, decarbonisation and operational resilience.

You should have a university degree in business, economics, engineering or a related discipline, together with approximately two to five years of experience in management consulting, transaction advisory, corporate finance, private equity, infrastructure or a comparable analytical environment. Experience with infrastructure sectors, portfolio operations or performance improvement is advantageous. Strong financial modelling, data analysis and presentation skills are essential, as is confidence working with Excel and PowerPoint. We are looking for a structured, curious and commercially minded professional who takes ownership, communicates clearly and can manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment. Fluency in English is required; additional European language skills are a plus. Willingness to travel periodically and collaborate with international teams is expected.
