Our client, a leading OEM in the onshore wind sector, is seeking an experienced Concrete Tower Installation Supervisors to support wind farm construction projects. This position plays a key role in overseeing the installation and finishing phases of concrete tower structures, ensuring safe execution, high quality standards, and efficient project delivery.
You will act as the on-site technical representative, coordinating across quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to prepare turbines and towers for commissioning while maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support throughout the installation and finishing phases of concrete tower erection
- Support quality management processes, including resolution of technical non-conformities and compliance with change management procedures
- Assist with incoming goods inspections and quality gate processes to ensure components meet required standards
- Coordinate pre-installation inspections, including anchor cages and foundations, alongside engineering and quality teams
- Review and compile documentation for pre-assembly, statutory inspections, and release approvals
- Support structured site processes and milestone controls related to installation and commissioning readiness
- Track and manage NCRs, incidents, and reporting using recognised site management systems
- Liaise with quality teams to track missing components and ensure timely resolution of material issues
- Identify and resolve installation defects and quality deviations to ensure reliable long-term operation of turbines
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with strict HSE standards, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency across site operations
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Construction or similar) or equivalent experience
- Alternatively, 5-7 years of relevant experience within the wind industry or large-scale construction projects
- Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures including LOTO, working at height, and general site safety practices
- Experience across installation, construction, commissioning, or quality management within wind or heavy industry environments
- Understanding of mechanical systems and basic hydraulic systems is advantageous
Additional Information
This is a site-based role with significant travel requirements depending on project allocation
Candidates should be comfortable working in dynamic construction environments and adapting to project demands
