Concrete Project Superintendent, Water & Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Project Superintendent, Water & Infrastructure, to lead the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of concrete works across major water, wastewater and civil infrastructure projects. This role will oversee site operations from mobilisation through to completion, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders to ensure work is delivered in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities include planning daily construction activities, allocating labour and equipment, monitoring productivity and progress, and maintaining accurate site records. You will supervise formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, curing and associated civil works, while ensuring all activities meet quality, environmental and safety requirements. The Superintendent will review drawings and method statements, identify potential construction issues, support solutions with engineering and project management teams, and coordinate inspections, testing and approvals. You will also contribute to programme updates, cost control, forecasting, change management and subcontractor performance reviews.

The successful candidate will have substantial supervisory experience delivering concrete structures or related works within water, utilities, heavy civil construction or infrastructure environments. Strong knowledge of construction methods, concrete quality control, safety legislation and site compliance requirements is essential, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate multiple work fronts. A relevant trade, technical or construction qualification is desirable. You will be a practical and organised leader who communicates clearly, builds effective relationships and remains focused under programme pressure. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong commitment to safe work practices and the flexibility to work across active construction sites and changing project conditions.
