HSE (EHS) Site Advisor
Key EHS Responsibilities:
* Implement and monitor EHS objectives in alignment with the Project HSE Plan.
* Conduct routine safety inspections and environmental audits, ensuring timely corrective actions.
* Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
* Communicate EHS policies, regulations, and safe work practices to project personnel and subcontractors.
* Support and deliver EHS training programs, safety events, and awareness initiatives based on risk assessments and incident trends.
* Ensure proper waste management, chemical handling, and environmental compliance on all project sites.
* Maintain emergency preparedness, coordinate drills, and manage site emergency communication flows.
* Promote a proactive safety culture, integrating EHS considerations into daily operations and decision-making.
* Collaborate with project teams to minimize risk and maintain a safe and environmentally responsible work environment.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma & valid driver's license.
* 3-5 years of field-based construction or industrial safety experience.
* Strong knowledge of OSHA construction regulations and EHS programs (LOTO, fall protection, confined space, respiratory and electrical safety, etc.).
* Proven ability to investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Physical ability to climb wind turbine ladders (~300 ft), walk on varied surfaces, and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
* Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
* OSHA 30, CHST, or CSP certification.
* 3+ years experience in the wind power or renewable energy industry.
* GWO training and/or advanced rescue capabilities.
* Ability to climb multiple times per week and perform field-based duties under varying weather conditions.
