Job Title: Commissioning Technician (HV Trained) - Major Component Exchange

Location: On-site
Contract Duration: ASAP until the end of the year
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:
EWI is seeking an experienced Commissioning Technician with HV (High Voltage) training and prior experience in Major Component Exchange (MCU) commissioning on-site. This role involves critical electrical commissioning tasks, ensuring safe and efficient operation of turbines and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical LOTO Application: Apply electrical Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and prepare turbines for commissioning.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues during MCU operations to maintain optimal performance.
  • Commissioning & LOTO Removal: Oversee the commissioning process and safely remove LOTO after the MCU operations are completed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • HV Training with proven experience in commissioning, specifically in turbine and MCU operations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols related to high voltage operations.
  • Experience with Major Component Exchange projects.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety and performance standards.
