- Coordinate contractors and subcontractors, verifying quality, progress, documentation and adherence to site requirements.
- Support commissioning, energisation, fault-finding and handover activities.
- Promote a positive safety culture, reporting incidents, conducting inspections and driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records, including progress reports, test results, red-line drawings and completion documentation.
About you
You will be a qualified electrical professional with substantial supervisory experience in a large-scale industrial, infrastructure, utilities, marine, construction or energy environment. A recognised electrical qualification, such as an HNC, HND, NVQ or equivalent, is desirable, together with relevant trade certification and demonstrable experience managing teams and contractors.
You should have strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, testing and commissioning, with the confidence to interpret technical documentation and make sound decisions under pressure. Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a consistent commitment to safety, quality and delivery.
