We are seeking a capable and motivated Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of engineering projects from initial concept through to completion. This role will involve coordinating technical activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain effective project communication.

Key responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing technical documentation, specifications, programmes, risk assessments, and progress reports. You will assist with project planning, resource coordination, cost tracking, procurement, and change control, while ensuring that engineering designs and site activities comply with relevant standards, regulations, and procedures. The successful candidate will monitor project milestones, identify potential delays or technical risks, and support the implementation of practical solutions. You may also attend design reviews, site meetings, inspections, commissioning activities, and handover discussions as required.

Applicants should have a degree, higher qualification, or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline, together with experience supporting or managing engineering projects. Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret technical information and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with project management tools, engineering software, document control systems, and reporting processes would be advantageous. A proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to health, safety, quality, and continuous improvement are expected.
