Architectural Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of architectural projects from early concept through to completion. Working across a varied portfolio, you will coordinate design development, manage project programmes and budgets, and ensure that all work meets the required standards for quality, compliance and client satisfaction. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams, building effective relationships and maintaining clear communication throughout each project stage.

Your responsibilities will include preparing project briefs, scopes, fee proposals and delivery plans; coordinating multidisciplinary design teams; monitoring progress, costs, risks and resources; and ensuring that projects remain on schedule and within budget. You will oversee planning and building regulation submissions, support tender and procurement activities, review technical information, and assist with contract administration and site delivery. You will also identify potential issues early, develop practical solutions, maintain accurate project records and provide regular progress reports to relevant stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a recognised qualification in architecture, architectural technology, construction management or a related discipline, together with proven experience managing architectural projects through multiple work stages. Strong knowledge of design coordination, construction processes, statutory requirements and relevant industry standards is essential. You should be highly organised, commercially aware and confident managing competing priorities in a collaborative environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to lead meetings and influence project decisions are also required. Proficiency in commonly used design, documentation and project management software will be advantageous.
