We are seeking a Field/Office Engineer to support the delivery of major water and wastewater facility projects in a field-based construction environment. This role is suited to an organized, technically minded professional who can coordinate effectively between project teams, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site personnel. The successful candidate will contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution from planning through completion.

Responsibilities will include reviewing drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documents; assisting with quantity tracking, cost reporting, procurement, and schedule updates; preparing requests for information, submittals, transmittals, meeting records, and progress reports; and maintaining accurate project documentation. You will help coordinate daily field activities, verify work against approved plans and quality requirements, support inspections and testing, and identify potential issues before they affect cost, schedule, or safety. Additional duties may include assisting with change management, reviewing subcontractor submissions and invoices, monitoring material deliveries, supporting commissioning and closeout activities, and communicating progress to project leadership.

Applicants should have a degree, diploma, or equivalent training in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, along with relevant experience on industrial, infrastructure, water, wastewater, or heavy civil projects. Knowledge of construction means and methods, project controls, contracts, and health and safety practices is preferred. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, use Microsoft Office and project management software, and maintain accurate records is essential. Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and teamwork skills are required. This position involves regular work on active construction sites, including exposure to variable weather, uneven terrain, and standard site conditions.
