We are seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of complex finance transformation, process improvement and change initiatives. The successful candidate will manage projects from inception through to implementation, ensuring that objectives, milestones, budgets, risks and benefits are clearly defined and effectively controlled. This role will work across finance and wider business teams to improve systems, reporting, governance, controls and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities will include developing detailed project plans, maintaining delivery schedules and coordinating resources across multiple workstreams. You will facilitate workshops, gather and document business requirements, assess impacts, and translate financial and operational needs into practical solutions. You will prepare clear project updates for senior stakeholders, monitor budgets and dependencies, manage risks and issues, and ensure that decisions and actions are recorded and followed through. The role will also support testing, implementation, training, communications and post-project reviews, ensuring that changes are embedded and deliver measurable benefits.

Applicants should have substantial experience managing finance-related projects, preferably within a complex or regulated environment. You will bring a strong understanding of financial processes, controls, reporting and systems, together with proven experience of delivering change through cross-functional teams. Excellent organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain momentum in a changing environment. You should be confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, presenting complex information clearly and influencing effective decisions. Experience with project management methodologies, risk management, process mapping, finance systems implementation or business transformation would be advantageous. A relevant professional qualification in finance, project management or a related discipline is desirable.
