The Site Project Manager-Superintendent will lead the day-to-day delivery of construction projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards. This role will provide strong site leadership while coordinating field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will establish clear expectations, maintain productive working relationships and promote a professional, collaborative site culture.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating trades and site activities, reviewing drawings and specifications, monitoring progress and managing short-term planning. You will oversee site safety, quality assurance, inspections, testing, permits and compliance with applicable legislation and project requirements. The role will also involve tracking costs, reviewing variations, supporting procurement, resolving technical and construction issues, and maintaining accurate records, reports and project documentation. You will lead regular site meetings, communicate progress to project stakeholders and identify risks, delays or opportunities for improvement before they affect delivery.

Applicants should have substantial experience managing construction sites and supervising complex projects, with a proven ability to coordinate multiple work packages and subcontractors. A relevant qualification in construction management, engineering or a related discipline is desirable, together with strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety requirements, quality systems and contract administration. Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. You will be expected to work confidently under pressure, make sound decisions, maintain high standards and provide clear direction to site teams. Experience with project scheduling, cost control, digital construction tools and reporting systems will be advantageous. The position may require travel between sites and flexibility to meet project demands.
