Senior Project Manager (Site Supervision)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Site Supervision) to lead the successful delivery of complex construction and infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to completion. The role will be responsible for overseeing site activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will act as a senior point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders, providing clear direction and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include managing day-to-day site supervision, reviewing construction programmes and progress reports, monitoring resources and productivity, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contracts, and applicable regulations. You will identify and resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues, manage risks and changes, and support the assessment of claims, variations, and extensions of time. The successful candidate will lead regular site meetings, produce accurate progress updates, verify completed works, oversee testing and inspections, and ensure that health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements are consistently implemented. You will also contribute to project planning, stakeholder engagement, handover activities, and the preparation of final documentation.

Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related discipline, together with substantial experience supervising major construction projects. Professional registration or membership of a recognised industry body is desirable. You will need strong knowledge of construction methods, contract administration, project controls, and site safety management, as well as proven experience leading teams in a demanding project environment. Excellent written and verbal communication, sound commercial awareness, strong problem-solving ability, and confidence using project management and reporting software are essential. A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach, with a clear commitment to quality and continuous improvement, will be highly valued.
