Infrastructure Investment Manager – private equity
We are seeking an Infrastructure Investment Manager to join a private equity investment team focused on identifying, evaluating and executing opportunities across essential infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will support the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening new opportunities through to due diligence, transaction execution, portfolio oversight and exit planning. This is an excellent opportunity for an investment professional with strong analytical, commercial and communication skills to contribute to high-value transactions in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities will include building and reviewing detailed financial models, conducting market and industry analysis, assessing investment returns and risks, and preparing investment committee materials. You will coordinate financial, commercial, legal, tax, technical and environmental due diligence, working closely with external advisers and internal stakeholders. The role will also involve preparing presentations, drafting transaction documentation, supporting negotiations and maintaining clear records of key assumptions, findings and decisions. Following completion, you will monitor portfolio company performance, contribute to value creation initiatives, review budgets and forecasts, and assist with periodic reporting to senior stakeholders and investors.
Applicants should have experience in infrastructure investment, private equity, investment banking, project finance, corporate finance or a closely related field, together with a strong understanding of transaction processes and financial analysis. Experience covering sectors such as energy, transport, utilities, digital infrastructure or social infrastructure would be advantageous. You will be expected to demonstrate advanced financial modelling skills, sound commercial judgement and the ability to interpret complex information. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the confidence to manage multiple workstreams and build effective relationships with advisers, management teams and investment partners. A relevant degree in finance, economics, business, engineering or a related discipline is required; professional qualifications or postgraduate study may be beneficial.
