Job Role - Site Material Coordinator
Location - North America
Contract Length - 12 months

The Site Material Coordinator is responsible for managing the ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to contractors and the team on-site. This role includes overseeing inventory, selecting material sources, and ensuring timely delivery to the construction site or production area.

Key Responsibilities:

o Act as the main contact for all material-related inquiries on-site.
o Work with other managers to determine material needs.
o Supervise receiving and storage procedures.
o Coordinate the distribution of materials on site.
o Keep accurate records of material turnover and inventory.
o Order materials from local providers or a central warehouse based on needs.
o Assist the team in finding references in material lists and drawings.
o Track and report on the delivery of materials to the site.
o Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
o Oversee material handovers to contractors.
o Ensure materials handling meets health and safety standards.
o Conduct inspections to identify hazards and eliminate risks.
o Follow best practices for storage and inventory control.
o Manage the sites material and supply budget.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Proficiency in English (French is a plus).
* Ability to read technical drawings and understand mechanical and electrical terms.
* Strong organizational, record-keeping, and communication skills.
* Ability to use MS Office Suite and other tools.
* Knowledge of inventory management practices.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with others
