Overview
Our client who is a specialist electrical engineering consultancy, focused on data centres and high-voltage infrastructure projects, is looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager.
The Civil Site Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of all civil construction activities on substation EPC projects, ensuring works are executed safely, to specification, and aligned with the overall project programme
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day civil construction activities on siteCoordinate subcontractors, labour, and plantSupervise earthworks, drainage, foundations, and structuresEnsure compliance with drawings, specifications, and method statementsPlan and sequence works in line with EPC programmeMaintain HSE compliance and site regulationsCoordinate with electrical and commissioning teamsMonitor progress, quality, and productivityManage permits, inspections, and quality documentationSupport commissioning and project handoverRequired Qualifications and Competencies:
Experience on substation or infrastructure projectsStrong civil engineering knowledgeExperience in high-risk construction environmentsStrong HSE understandingLeadership and subcontractor management skillsAbility to read engineering drawingsStrong communication and organisational skillsStrategic Performance Metrics (KPIs)
