The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are looking for a Boat Driver to join a global leader in construction sector for one of Norway's technical infrastructure projects involving roads, tunnels, bridges, drill and blast works.

Job Role / Responsibilities

  • Transporting people with the boat to offshore construction sites. Following maintenance, safe docking, transporting of the boat.
  • Helping planning and execution of marine operations such as pontoons, docking points etc.
  • Ensure application of HSE rules related to own and subcontractor employees, with the goal of minimizing risks.
  • Helping technical evaluations of marine equipment
  • Communicate with site responsible and sub-contractors to plan the transportation

Project

The infrastructure project is based on the West Coast of Norway and consist of the construction of several tunnels, bridges and highways, the construction has already started and is estimated to last for at least 3 more years.

Requirements

  • Experience as Boat Driver
  • Experience with Marine operations
  • Mandatory Boat driving licence (D5L or D5 certificate )
  • Fluent in Norwegian
