Project Manager I, Development Management A&C
Project Manager I, Development Management A&C
We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Manager to support the delivery of development and capital projects from early concept through to completion. This role will suit someone with experience in project coordination, development management, construction, property or a related discipline, who is keen to build their career within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
You will work with internal teams, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within approved budgets. The role involves coordinating multiple workstreams, maintaining accurate project information and supporting informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, procurement and delivery of development, refurbishment and capital projects.
- Prepare and maintain project programmes, budgets, risk registers, action logs and reporting documents.
- Coordinate design development, approvals, surveys, technical information and statutory requirements.
- Work closely with consultants and contractors to monitor progress, quality, costs and compliance.
- Organise project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and track actions through to completion.
- Support the preparation of business cases, tender documentation, contract instructions and financial reports.
- Identify emerging risks and issues, escalating matters appropriately and helping to develop practical solutions.
- Promote high standards of health and safety, sustainability, accessibility and customer experience.
About you
You will have strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and build effective working relationships. You should be confident working with project data, financial information and standard Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Teams.
Experience of working within a project, property, construction or development environment is desirable. An understanding of project management principles, procurement processes, construction terminology and relevant regulations would be advantageous. A recognised project management, construction or property qualification, or a willingness to work towards one, is welcomed.
You will be proactive, detail-focused and commercially aware, with a practical approach to problem-solving. In return, you will receive opportunities for professional development and the chance to contribute to projects with a visible and lasting impact.
