- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, execution strategies, budgets, risk registers and progress reports.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors and supply chain partners to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor performance against key milestones and implement corrective actions where required.
- Manage project risks, issues, changes and dependencies, escalating matters promptly and appropriately.
- Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, industry standards, contractual requirements and health and safety procedures.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular updates, constructive communication and effective issue resolution.
- Support commercial management, including forecasting, cost control, variations and review of supplier performance.
- Lead project reviews and capture lessons learned to improve future execution and operational performance.
About you
You will have proven experience managing the execution of complex projects, ideally within an engineering, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure or related environment. A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM or equivalent, would be advantageous.
You should be highly organised, commercially aware and confident making decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills are essential, together with the ability to interpret technical information and present clear updates to senior stakeholders. A proactive approach, attention to detail and commitment to safe, high-quality delivery are key to success in this position.
