We are seeking a Cost Estimating Engineer to support the planning and delivery of construction and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will prepare accurate cost estimates, tender calculations, budgets and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle. You will analyse drawings, technical specifications, bills of quantities and supplier quotations to establish realistic project costs and identify commercial risks at an early stage.

Your responsibilities will include collecting and evaluating pricing data, preparing tender documentation, reviewing subcontractor and supplier offers, and supporting procurement and contract negotiations. You will work closely with project managers, designers, site teams and clients to clarify scope, assess changes and maintain reliable cost control. You will also monitor cost developments, investigate deviations from budget and contribute to reporting, follow-up and continuous improvement of estimating processes. The role may involve participating in site visits, coordination meetings and technical reviews.

We are looking for someone with a degree or equivalent experience in civil engineering, construction, quantity surveying, cost management or a related discipline. You have experience preparing estimates for construction, civil works or infrastructure projects and are comfortable interpreting technical documentation and commercial terms. Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage several assignments simultaneously are essential. Experience with estimating, planning or cost-control software, as well as advanced skills in Excel, is an advantage. You communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, and knowledge of Swedish is beneficial. The successful candidate is structured, collaborative and proactive, with the judgement to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary project environment.
