PROJECT MANAGER WITH COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial construction to oversee projects from initial planning through to successful completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing programmes, budgets, resources, quality standards and site operations while ensuring that work is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with contractual requirements. Projects may include commercial buildings, refurbishments, fit-outs and associated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities will include coordinating consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers; preparing and monitoring project schedules; managing procurement and material deliveries; reviewing drawings, specifications and construction methodologies; and maintaining accurate project documentation. A relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, project management or a related discipline is desirable, together with experience using project scheduling, document control or cost management systems. Strong communication, negotiation, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You should be confident working with people at all levels, from site teams and subcontractors to clients and professional consultants. A proactive, practical approach and a commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement are also required. A valid driving licence may be beneficial depending on project locations.
