Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team on a large-scale data centre project in Vaasa, Finland. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and programme requirements while working closely with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all works are executed in full compliance with the Winthrop Integrated Management System.
- Review, coordinate, and manage project drawings as required.
- Provide technical guidance and support to subcontractors across all project stages.
- Plan, prioritise, and allocate tasks within the technical team to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with site, project, and health & safety requirements.
- Apply troubleshooting techniques to identify issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Oversee document control processes, ensuring all logs are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare handover and test packs for system commissioning.
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar discipline
- Minimum 3+ years' experience within the electrical construction sector
- Experience working on electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and associated services
- Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site practices
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and coordinate with subcontractors
- Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and installation methodologies
- Experience in data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects is advantageous.
