HSE Site Manager - Germany (Wind Energy)

Start Date: Immediate starts available through September 2026, with long-term work expected until the end of 2028.

Successful candidates will attend a 2-day onboarding workshop in Hamburg before travelling directly to their assigned project.

Location:
Projects are primarily based across northern Germany, with efforts made to keep HSE personnel within the same regional area where possible.

Working Pattern:

  • Up to 60 hours per week (Monday-Saturday, 10-hour days, depending on project requirements)
  • Long-term contract opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review HSE documentation, RAMS, inductions and site-specific safety plans
  • Support project mobilisation and attend kick-off meetings
  • Deliver site inductions and verify workforce qualifications and certifications
  • Conduct HSE inspections, audits and safety monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems
  • Investigate incidents and produce HSE reports and action plans
  • Support project transitions, including crane moves and commissioning activities

Full training, templates and procedures will be provided.

Contract Details:
This is an all-inclusive contract. Contractors are responsible for arranging and funding their own flights, accommodation, vehicle hire (4x4) and fuel, allowing flexibility to source the most cost-effective local options.

Requirements:

  • Contractors must supply their own PPE for site work.
  • Contractors must provide their own laptop and mobile phone.
  • All GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) modules must be valid before arriving on site.
  • Contractors must comply with all local German regulations for site access, including:
    • Signed invoice and pay agreement (employment agreement)
    • Proof of compliance with minimum wage and maximum working hour regulations
    • Valid identification documents
