Overview

Our client who is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to clients They specialise in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.

They have grown to become the leading and most trusted company in our sector and the only dedicated data centre delivery partner in Europe.

They are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join the team on a large-scale data centre project in Vaasa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the electrical package, from design coordination and procurement through to installation, testing, and commissioning. They will oversee subcontractors and site teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and work closely with clients and project stakeholders to deliver the package on time, within budget, and to the highest standards

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Electrical Systems package from design coordination to installation, testing, and commissioning.Oversee site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and the Engineering & Contracting Safety Advisor, including setup, management, and close-out of the safety file as part of the management team.Promote and maintain a strong Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) culture within your team.Collaborate with the Project Manager, consulting engineers, and the client to manage the project schedule and ensure timely delivery.Manage all costs associated with the electrical package, including:Engineering & Contracting Electrical Team, Subcontractors, Material deliveries and goods receipting, Plant and equipment. Variations and valuationsOversee all day-to-day site operations, ensuring policies and procedures are followed closely.Supervise subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.Maintain and manage the client's Engineering & Contracting "In Progress" snagging system, ensuring supervisors submit weekly punch lists and distributing all snags to relevant subcontractors.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar disciplineMinimum 7 years' experience within the electrical construction sectorStrong background managing Electrical packages on large-scale construction projectsExperience in scheduling, sequencing, and programme managementExcellent organisational, communication, and coordination skillsStrong technical understanding of electrical systems, installation methodologies, and site operationsProven ability to manage subcontractors and drive project deliveryData centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous.

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join the project team in Skelleftea, Sweden. This role will be responsible for managing key Electrical work packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate Electrical work packages across the project lifecycleOversee day-to-day electrical site operations in conjunction with the wider project teamManage site QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with project specifications and standardsCoordinate project schedules with Planners, Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants, and design teamsManage electrical subcontractor activities, including progress tracking, manpower levels, and weekly coordination meetingsEnsure all subcontractor documentation, including safety documentation, is maintained and up to dateAttend Site Meetings, Engineering Reviews, Planning Meetings, and Handover MeetingsLiaise with the design team to ensure construction information and technical submittals are issued in line with programme requirementsReview drawings, technical submittals, and ensure electrical systems are coordinated correctlySupport commercial management by tracking variations and attending weekly commercial meetingsIssue progress reports to the project teamCarry out, distribute, and close out electrical snagging itemsProactively identify and resolve technical, design, and coordination issues on site.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the electrical package, from design coordination and procurement through to installation, testing, and commissioning. They will oversee subcontractors and site teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and work closely with clients and project stakeholders to deliver the package on time, within budget, and to the highest standards

Key Responsibilities:

Variations and valuationsOversee all day-to-day site operations, ensuring policies and procedures are followed closely.Supervise subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.Maintain and manage the "In Progress" snagging system, ensuring supervisors submit weekly punch lists and distributing all snags to relevant subcontractors.Issue direct labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator for central tracking.Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.Issue weekly cost reports, including all orders placed, materials expected, and labour levels.Issue internal weekly progress reports summarising supervisors' updates, highlighting percentage complete based on WBS codes, risks under client's control (e.g., late deliveries), and any concerns.Issue external weekly progress reports to the Project Manager, detailing unavailable areas, delays, design shortages, third-party hold-ups, and percentage complete.Schedule material deliveries to align with the project programme and track all deliveries.Maintain a weekly project photographic diary.Perform all other duties as required to successfully deliver the electrical package.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.Proven experience in Project Management, preferably within large-scale projects, ideally data centres, pharmaceutical, or industrial.Strong track record of coordinating and managing complex electrical and mechanical systems projects.Experience handling industrial relations matters.Solid knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and practices.Experience in design and build projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant mechanical software and excellent technical knowledge of mechanical systemsStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive team performance.
