We are seeking a Field/Office Engineer to support the delivery of complex water and wastewater facility projects in a fast-paced construction environment. This role will work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to coordinate technical activities, maintain accurate project records, and help ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements. The position may involve a combination of field assignments, office-based coordination, and regular travel to active project sites.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, specifications, submittals, requests for information, and design changes; assisting with project schedules, cost tracking, quantity measurements, procurement, and change management; preparing daily reports, progress documentation, meeting records, and status updates; and supporting quality control, commissioning, testing, and closeout activities. You will help coordinate construction of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process systems associated with water treatment, pumping, conveyance, storage, or related infrastructure. The role also requires monitoring field conditions, identifying potential issues, communicating impacts to the project team, and helping develop practical solutions. A strong commitment to health, safety, environmental compliance, and professional conduct is essential.

Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in civil, construction, environmental, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related discipline, along with relevant internship or professional experience in heavy civil, industrial, utility, or water infrastructure construction. Experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications, using document control or project management systems, and working with Microsoft Office is preferred. Familiarity with scheduling, estimating, surveying, BIM, or construction management software is an advantage. The successful candidate will be organised, analytical, proactive, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while communicating effectively with both field and office teams. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to work on active construction sites are required.
