You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Co-ordinate engineering activities across water and wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, specifications and environmental requirements.
- Review designs, drawings, technical documentation and construction proposals, identifying risks, opportunities and areas requiring clarification.
- Support project planning, programming, cost control, procurement and change management.

- Prepare and review technical reports, risk assessments, method statements and project documentation.
- Attend design reviews, progress meetings and site inspections, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Assist with commissioning, testing, handover and the completion of operation and maintenance information.
- Promote a positive health, safety, environmental and quality culture throughout all project activities.
About you
You will have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in civil, mechanical, electrical or environmental engineering, together with experience working on water, wastewater, utilities or other complex infrastructure projects. A recognised professional qualification, or progress towards one, would be advantageous.
Strong technical, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and build effective working relationships. Experience with construction delivery, contract administration, engineering software and industry standards would be beneficial. You should be confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
In return, you will have the opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure projects while developing your technical and project management career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
