You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, local authorities and other stakeholders to deliver practical, cost-effective and technically robust solutions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage multiple projects, take ownership of design outcomes and support the delivery of high-quality developments across residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and review civil engineering designs for roads, earthworks, drainage, stormwater, utilities and associated infrastructure.
  • Develop technical reports, specifications, cost estimates, design calculations and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate project deliverables with internal teams, external consultants, contractors and approving authorities.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and resources to support successful delivery.
  • Attend site inspections, respond to technical queries and provide construction-phase engineering support.
  • Review drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards, planning conditions and statutory requirements.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and contribute to proposals, fee estimates and business development activities.

About you

You will be a qualified Civil Engineer with relevant experience in land development, infrastructure or a related consulting environment. A degree in Civil Engineering and professional membership, or progress towards professional registration, would be advantageous. Experience using civil design software such as Civil 3D, 12d or similar platforms is desirable.

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines. You will be commercially aware, detail-focused and confident working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.

In return, you will receive professional development opportunities, exposure to varied and challenging projects, and the support needed to progress your engineering career.
