Project Manager - Land Development

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Land Development to lead a range of residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects from initial feasibility through to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project programmes and budgets, and ensuring that all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with relevant planning, environmental, and statutory requirements.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing site investigations, feasibility assessments, planning applications, design development, infrastructure coordination, procurement, construction, and project close-out. You will work closely with consultants, contractors, local authorities, utility providers, landowners, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, manage risk, and maintain project momentum. The role will also involve preparing project reports, monitoring costs and schedules, reviewing technical documentation, managing variations, and providing clear updates to senior stakeholders. You will be expected to identify opportunities for process improvement and ensure that project objectives, quality standards, and commercial outcomes are achieved.

The successful candidate will have proven experience managing land development or property-related projects, ideally from feasibility through to delivery. A relevant qualification in project management, civil engineering, construction, urban planning, surveying, or a related discipline is desirable. You should have a strong understanding of development approvals, infrastructure delivery, consultant management, construction processes, and health and safety obligations. Excellent organisational, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a changing environment. Experience with project management software, budgeting, risk registers, and reporting tools will be advantageous.
