Key responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day construction activities across water and wastewater projects.
  • Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, providing clear direction and resolving operational issues.
  • Monitor progress against project schedules, identify potential delays and implement practical recovery plans.
  • Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality procedures and relevant legislation.

About you

Experience working with pipelines, treatment facilities, pumping stations, drainage systems or associated civil works would be highly advantageous.

You should be confident interpreting technical drawings, specifications and construction programmes, with the ability to prioritise competing demands in a busy site environment. Strong communication and leadership skills are required, together with a practical, collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Relevant construction, engineering or trade qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in a site supervision or project superintendent role.
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater construction practices and applicable standards.
  • Commitment to safe working practices and environmental responsibility.
  • Ability to use project management, reporting and document-control systems.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexibly when required.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure projects while developing your career within a supportive and delivery-focused environment.
