We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of engineering and construction projects in Irving, Texas. This role will work closely with project managers, engineers, field personnel, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with applicable standards. The successful candidate will help translate project requirements into practical execution plans and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include reviewing drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules; assisting with estimates, budgets, procurement, and resource planning; coordinating with subcontractors and vendors; tracking project progress, costs, materials, and documentation; and supporting the resolution of technical issues, design changes, and field challenges. The Project Engineer will participate in meetings, prepare reports and status updates, maintain accurate records, and help verify that work complies with approved designs, quality requirements, safety policies, and regulatory expectations. Additional duties may include reviewing submittals, RFIs, change orders, inspection reports, and commissioning or closeout documentation.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, construction, or a related engineering discipline, along with relevant project or field experience. Experience with engineering, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, or industrial projects is preferred. Strong organisational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management or engineering software is expected; familiarity with scheduling, estimating, CAD, or document-control systems is an advantage. The role may require occasional travel to project sites and the ability to work in field environments. A professional, collaborative approach and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement are highly valued.
